BEAUTIFUL CRISSY

HER FRIENDS

Crissy standing 17 1/2 inches tall, was first produced by Ideal in 1969. Crissy had a unique mechanism in her body that allowed her hair to grow long or short. A button in her tummy was pressed to release the hair and it was pulled out of her head to the desired length. A knob on her back allowed the user to wind the hair back into the dolls head. All the dolls in the Crissy family had this ability to grow or shorten their hair.

Here is Beautiful Crissy on the left and Look Around Crissy on the right. Crissy stands 17.5 inches high. She has rooted auburn hair and dark brown sleep eyes. The first Crissys came with hair that went right to her feet, the later models had shorter hair.

Here the girls are showing you the buttons to wind up their lovely locks. Notice Look Around Crissy on the right has a butterfly pull tag. This worked the mechanism that made her turn around on her own. The picture on the right shows the button on the tummy of the dolls used to release the hair, when it needed to be grown.

KERRY

VELVET

Velvet is Crissy's cousin. She stands 15.5 inches tall and has blonde rooted hair and blue sleep eyes. These gals are Movin' Groovin' Velvets.

MIA

Mia is wearing one of her original outfits. She stands 15.5 inches high. She has rooted dark brown hair and violet sleep eyes. She is listed as one of Velvet's friends.

Adorable little Cinnamon is Velvet's little sister and therefore I guess Crissy's cousin. She stands 13.5 inches and has rooted auburn hair and blue painted eyes.
